The loop+ system supports a variety of neurological conditions including Spinal Cord Injury, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke, and is suitable for all clients who use a wheelchair.

Now you can easily document, quantify and record seating behaviour outside of your clinic, while clients are getting on with their day.

 


Compatible with all types of cushions.

We work with power and manual wheelchair users with various cushion types including foam, air, gel, hybrid types, and more. As the loop+ sensor pad lies under the cushion, it reflects in the loop+ app the inherent properties of the cushion that sits on top of it.

Client referrals

 

It’s easy to refer a client to purchase or lease loop+. They then submit a request for reimbursement through the NDIS or other insurer (icare, TAC, NIISQ).

+ What health conditions/concerns can loop+ track?

The loop+ algorithms focus on providing data on key issues that you are looking to address for your clients including:

  • Positioning concerns
  • Pressure Risk
  • Pain
  • Range of movement
  • Activity and participation levels

+ Can my client have loop+ funded by the NDIS or their insurer?

Your client can purchase or lease the loop+ device through their selected insurer (NDIS, TAC or icare). The loop+ team will provide an invoice (or quote if required) to submit to the NDIS portal or to their plan manager or case manager. Once payment has been made we will then install the device and work with you side-by-side to set-up the appropriate calibration parameters personalised to your clients' individual seating setup and level of function.

Clinicians have used the loop+ Insight Reports (which have also been reinbursed in their clients plans) to help support their clients manage their pressure injuries, poitioning concerns and provide evidence for NDIS AT Reports.

+ What is a Baseline and Progress Report?

There is much to uncover in the loop+ Insight Reports. The ‘Baseline Report’ gives a snapshot of where your client is right now. What’s happening in their activities of daily living over a set period of time. Discover if any pattern, risks or insights emerge in the data. Set goals with your clients based on their daily habits and track changes over time with additional reports we call a ‘Progress Report’. Read more about our insights reports
